Vocalist, pianist, and songwriter Karrin Allyson is a five-time Grammy nominee. She is known not only for her vocal abilities but also as a great bandleader. Her highly developed interplay with her bandmates sounds effortless but conceals a deep musical sophistication. An extraordinary musician, she moves with ease between the Great American Songbook of Gershwin and Porter, the Great American Jazz Songbook of Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, and Dizzy Gillespie, gentle bossa nova rhythms, pop standards, and Kansas City blues.

Her latest album, A Kiss for Brazil, was released in 2024.
